This one-day workshop provides an essential overview and awareness of how to use massage therapy to help alleviate symptoms and aid healing in a wide variety of medical conditions.
It is not the role of the massage therapist to consider making a medical diagnosis.
It is, however, important to be aware of the implications for treatment of commonly occurring medical conditions
In most cases massage cannot cure the condition but is used to alleviate symptoms and promote healing.
We will be looking at disorders of the:
This one-day workshop provides an overview of the essential elements in making a postural review of your clients.
Basic postural assessment
During this workshop we will look at how to assess postural tendencies.

You will understand what is the ideal neutral posture and the treatment implications for deviations from this ideal.

You will be provided with a custom made booklet especially written for these workshops to support your learning.

You will not need to make extra notes, so you can focus on your practical skills.

Both these workshops are ISRM - Accredited, approved by the CThA and the FHT, and provides 14 hours of CPD training.
These one-day workshops are suitable for:

Any ITEC level 3 qualified (or equivalent) practitioners wishing to develop their skills

Any practitioners who are taking part in the ISRM Bridging Programme

Any BTEC qualified therapists who wish to refresh their foundation knowledge and gain CPD points for ISRM membership
Time: Saturday (Medical conditions) 9:30am registration and teaching from 10:00–5:00 pm
Time: Sunday (Basic Postural Assessment) 9:30 am registration and teaching from 10:00–5:00 pm
